A decal sheet with markings for aircraft from the fighting over the Aleutian Islands in 1942 and 1943, in 1:72 scale. It covers both American and Japanese machines of this little-known campaign.
Responsibility details are not available.
This decal set is devoted to the air campaign over the Aleutian Islands in 1942 and 1943, a northern, harsh and less well-known theater of the Second World War. The sheet in 1:72 scale offers markings for a whole range of American and Japanese aircraft that operated in the area.
The schemes covered include American fighters and bombers as well as Japanese machines, so a modeler can put together a themed collection of aircraft from one theater. The printing is sharp and in register, with a thin carrier film. Before application we recommend giving the surface a gloss clear coat, applying the decals wet and, if needed, softening them so that they settle well over the detail.
The set does not contain kits; it is purely decals for finishing models of the matching aircraft types. Once dry, it is a good idea to seal the model with a clear coat.
