This resin detail set from the Czech brand LZ models brings precisely cast ground plates for the Ward LaFrance M1 heavy recovery vehicle, in a rendition matching series 2 to 4, in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit of the vehicle but an upgrade set, which replaces or rounds out the parts of the base model and raises its fidelity.
The Ward LaFrance M1 was an American heavy recovery and crane truck of the Second World War. It served to tow and repair damaged equipment; its equipment included a slewing crane, winches and support elements for stabilization when lifting loads.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and clean them up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before fitting, check the position on the model of the recovery vehicle; we recommend treating the surface with a primer and finishing with an airbrush, and building the weathering up with washes and pigments.
It is a resin accessory – the base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
