An injection-molded plastic kit of the American M8 Greyhound / M20 light armored car in 1:56 scale from Italeri. This scale matches tabletop wargames and the box usually lets you assemble one of the variants of the vehicle.
The M8 Greyhound was an American six-wheeled armored reconnaissance car of the Second World War with an open turret and a 37 mm gun. The derived M20 was the turretless version for command and transport duties, armed with a heavy machine gun. The vehicles stood out for their speed and range and were widely used in Western Europe.
The smaller scale makes the build brisk. We recommend unifying the surface with a base and using a US Army olive shade; a small model comes out well with a fine wash into the recesses, a light dry brush along the edges and dust pigments on the suspension and wheels. Fit the wheels before finishing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
