A sheet of decals in 1:48 scale with the markings of aircraft used in Ukraine in the period from 2022 to 2025.
Responsibility details are not available.
These are decals in 1:48 scale tied to aircraft operated in Ukraine between 2022 and 2025. It is unambiguously a decal sheet for aircraft models, but the name does not state which particular types and machines the sheet concerns, nor how many variants it carries. The overview of the markings and the drawing of the individual subjects are therefore to be found only in the instructions enclosed with the sheet.
The scale of 1:48 is the most widespread one for models of aircraft, so a sheet of this kind usually fits ordinary kits in this size. Before you set about the work, compare the shape and the size of the individual subjects with the areas on the model; a decal can be shifted a little further or adapted, but it cannot be enlarged.
The ground under a decal should be smooth and glossy, because on a matte and rough surface air gets trapped under the film and a light rim appears around the subject. The decals are applied by the wet method: the piece is cut off together with the backing paper, soaked for a few seconds and, once it has come loose, slid onto the moistened spot. Soak the excess water away, settle the subject into the details of the surface and clear-coat the whole model once it has dried. The exact procedure, the recommended products and the soaking time are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
For builders of present-day aircraft in 1:48 scale who want to build a machine in the form of recent years and do not want to rely on the decals included with the kit. The model, the paints and the clear coat are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
