1:72 Mikoyan MiG-21F-13 / Chengdu F-7

Peewit painting masks Mikoyan MiG-21F-13 / Chengdu F-7 (1:72)

A set of self-adhesive painting masks from the Peewit brand for models of the Mikoyan MiG-21F-13 fighter, and of its Chinese counterpart the Chengdu F-7, in 1:72 scale. The masks are cut from thin yellow (kabuki) film and follow the shape of the glazed cockpit frames exactly, including the characteristic canopy. They let you spray the frames with sharp transitions.

Use

• Stick the masks onto the individual glazing frames and cover the surrounding clear area before spraying.
• Press the edges down carefully so that paint cannot creep under the film.
• Spray thin coats for clean edges.
• Once the paint has dried, take the masks off carefully.

Who the set is for

Suited to modelers who are building the early version of the MiG-21 or its Chinese counterpart and want clean glazing without cutting tape by hand.

This is an accessory for painting. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
