Art Scale Spitfire Mk.IXc landing gear bay masks 1:32

A set of flexible foam masks of the Art Scale brand in 1:32 scale intended for models of the Spitfire Mk.IXc fighter. The masks are made of a soft, yielding foam (FOAM) which you simply press into the opening of the landing gear bay. The express fit system means that the mask is shaped to measure and goes on in a moment.

Use

  • Press the foam mask into the opening of the landing gear bay before spraying the underside of the model.
  • Spray the lower surfaces or the whole landing gear and then take the mask out.
  • The foam follows the shape of the opening gently and damages neither the surrounding detail nor the paint.
  • The masks are reusable, so they will serve on further builds as well.

Who the set is for

For modelers who want to mask the landing gear bays quickly and cleanly without lengthy filling with tape or putty.

This is a masking aid, not a model. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
