Decals in 1:72 scale for the Henschel Hs 126 of the B version with the markings of machines committed over North Africa.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Henschel Hs 126 was a German reconnaissance aircraft for cooperation with ground units. A wing carried above the fuselage on struts gave the two-man crew a clear view downward, which on an observation machine decided more than speed. The B version differed from the older A in its radial engine. Besides the European fronts the type appeared in the Mediterranean and over North Africa as well, where what was mainly asked of the machines was that they stand up to operation from dusty field airfields.
The sheet is devoted to machines from the African service. For painting that means sandy shades on the upper surfaces and a light underside; on aircraft from this area white identification stripes appear as well. Which particular machines the sheet offers is given by the enclosed instructions.
The decals are wet ones, so they are transferred from the backing after soaking. Work on gloss varnish, dip the motif for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let it rest until it begins to slide freely. Once seated, draw off the excess water and use a softener on the engraved lines. As soon as everything has dried, varnish the whole model over and only then add dust and fading, otherwise the aged layer would lie under the paint and look alien. Apply the sand and the fine dust sparingly, mainly to the lower surfaces, to the landing gear and to the leading edges.
For builders of German equipment from the Mediterranean and African theater in 1:72 scale. The model, the paints, the varnish and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
