A slider for the GHAD-68 airbrush from Gaahleri: a replacement part that limits the travel of the needle on a pistol trigger. It is not a whole instrument.
Responsibility details are not available.
The GHAD-68 model belongs to the airbrushes with a pistol trigger, on which the amount of paint is not governed by how far back you pull your finger but by the setting of the needle travel. That is exactly what this sliding part looks after: you move it and the instrument is firmly limited in how much paint can come out. That lets you keep the same line width throughout the work without watching the pressure of your finger. It is a separate replacement part, not an airbrush.
The package contains one sliding part meant for the Gaahleri GHAD-68 airbrush. It will not fit other model series from this manufacturer, because the body of the instrument and the mounting of the needle differ. The needle, the nozzle and the sealing rings are not included.
For owners of the GHAD-68 airbrush who service and repair the instrument themselves. A pistol trigger is popular with modelers who spray for long stretches at a time, because it tires the hand less than a classic lever. That makes it all the more annoying when the travel setting seizes. A spare part gives the instrument its controllability back without a service visit.
The part is intended for modeling use. Keep small parts out of the reach of children.
