The GMC CCKW, nicknamed the Deuce and a Half after its payload, was the standard American truck of 2.5 tons payload in the Second World War. It had a three-axle layout with two driven rear axles and became the backbone of Allied supply on every front. It served to carry ammunition, materiel and men, and after the war it remained in use in many armies.
Assemble the chassis and the running gear before closing the cab and the cargo bed. Glue the parts with thin glue for plastic, sand the joints down and treat the surface with a primer. For a faithful look use an olive base, washes into the recesses and pigments for dust and mud on the wheels and in the wheel arches.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
