A large-scale injection-molded kit of the American 1/4 ton 4x4 light utility vehicle, known as the jeep, in the large 1:6 scale from Dragon. The model captures the vehicle with a .30 cal machine gun on a swiveling pintle mount, and thanks to the large scale it offers a richly worked interior and drivetrain.
The 1/4 ton 4x4 light utility vehicle was among the best known vehicles of the Second World War. It was exceptionally versatile and served for liaison, reconnaissance and transport and as a carrier of light armament. On the rear pintle mount it could carry a .30 cal Browning machine gun, which made it a mobile source of fire support.
The large scale allows careful accenting of the detail. We suggest painting the chassis and the interior before closing the bodywork up. For a faithful look, use matte paints, washes and drybrushing to bring out the rivets and the scuffs, and add dust and mud effects with pigments at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
