A set of shaped foam masks for the wheel bays of a model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 E fighter in 1:48 scale. The product is not a kit nor a self-adhesive film but flexible foam inserts that are pressed into the already painted wheel bays before painting and keep paint from getting inside.
The Bf 109 E (Emil) was the main version of this German fighter at the start of the Second World War. The narrow wheel bays in the wing are hard to mask with tape, which is why a foam insert is a practical and quick solution.
