A second color balance of the same construction

Anyone who builds the characters of this series knows that the letter in brackets changes the shades, not the shape of the parts. Version B offers a different combination of colors from the starting rendition, and that is exactly why collectors buy it as a counterpart: two figures side by side with the same cut and differing coloring read in a case as a pair, not as copies.

What you need for the work

Nippers, a sharp knife and a quiet half hour without interruption are enough. A paper mat protects the table and at the same time keeps small sections from springing off into the carpet. Take the sprues out of the bag one at a time in the order given in the instructions, otherwise it is easy to lose track of which part has already been dealt with.

Combining with add-ons

The character has the same body construction as the other figures of the same family, so both hair and body sets will fit it. You can therefore start with the basic model and vary it gradually without buying a whole new figure each time. Swapping parts is an intended property of this series, not an improvisation.

The durability of the finished model

The plastic keeps its color for years, as long as you avoid sunlight and high temperatures. From time to time clear the dust off the figure with a soft brush and check whether any joint has started to give. A loosened pin is usually put right with a thin coat of varnish, which enlarges the diameter imperceptibly and restores the friction. A display case with glass doors also saves regular dusting and protects the character from being knocked off a table or shelf by accident.
