SIS-Tc20g Tukirna-Diearth (Innocente Form)

A figure built from sprues, not cast in one piece

The code SIS-Tc20g and the epithet Innocente Form in brackets give away that this is one particular type from a complete figure system. The bracket marks the rendition, that is the version which differs from the others in the shape of the clothing and in the coloring, while the basic frame stays shared.

What sets this kind of goods apart from a classic collector's figure is that it arrives on sprues and is assembled. Inside is an articulated frame, onto which the parts of the body, the hair and the clothing are fitted, and the package tends to hold several options for the face, between which you switch by changing a part.

Working with castings this small has its rules. Strands of hair and hands are the thinnest parts of the whole set, so they are nipped in two passes: first the sprue is cut some way from the part, and only then is the remainder of the gate leveled with a blade laid flat. They cannot be snapped off, as the plastic would tear away in the thin spot along with a piece of the surface.

The color division goes further on the face parts than anywhere else: they tend to be printed or completed with fine stickers, so the result reads cleanly even without painting. Anyone who reaches for a brush all the same should work with heavily thinned paint and in several passes.

The interface of the frame is designed to take parts from add-on sets sold separately too. That very interchangeability is the main idea of the whole system: one figure is a base which can be dressed up endlessly. Storage matches that: unused parts belong in a resealable bag, because small hands and strands go missing faster than anything else.
