The real subject

The Bf 110 was a twin-engined, two-seat heavy fighter which came about as an escort machine for long-range sorties. The C version was among the first built in series and carried a crew of pilot and radio operator with rearward defensive fire. It was this very type that became one of the best-known German aircraft of its category and appeared in the armament of further states as well. The sheet is devoted to machines in the colors of the Regia Aeronautica, that is in a form a modeler does not commonly meet at exhibitions.

What the sheet offers

It is a standalone sheet of decals in 1:32 scale, that is in the large format where even small lettering stands out. The decals are intended for a model of the Bf 110 C-3 and carry Italian markings. How to work with the decals

• First varnish the base under the decals with a gloss coat; on a matte surface a white veil appears under the film.
• Cut the decal out close to the motif and soak it for a few seconds in lukewarm water.
• Let it rest until the film starts to shift on the paper of its own accord, and only then transfer it.
• Apply decal softener sparingly and do not move a seated decal again until it has dried.
• Seal the finished decals with a varnish in the sheen the whole model is meant to have.

Who the sheet is for

It will be appreciated by a modeler who has a Bf 110 kit in a large scale and is looking for a less usual finish for it than a German one. Knowledge of the type is not a condition; Italian markings are applied just like any other.
