A hex head 1.2 mm in diameter for suggesting a bolted joint on a model. It closes the lower half of the scale offered and suits clearly visible places.
Responsibility details are not available.
A diameter of 1.2 mm is the last grade of the lower half of the scale offered. The detail is not screwed onto the part but glued, so all the strength arises on the mating surface under the head. At such a dimension that is barely larger than the end of a pin and every unevenness beneath it takes away another piece of contact.
It therefore pays to level the surface first and clear it of grease, and only then reach for the glue. Anyone who seats the head on a layer of paint is in fact gluing to the paint and not to the plastic, and such a joint lasts only until the first catch of a cloth.
A finished piece is lifted by the solid parts of the build, by the frame, the chassis or the base. Surfaces studded with small hardware will take the touch of a finger only as long as nothing presses sideways on them. Sideways pressure loosens such joints most often, whereas a pull square upward is almost harmless to them.
If the detail does come off one day, the remains of old glue in the recess are usually to blame. They are carefully scraped out with the tip of a scalpel, the surface is polished and the head is seated again. The second attempt usually holds better than the first, because the seat already has the right shape. Anyone who also notes down which dimension they used in a place will find a matching piece for a later repair without lengthy measuring.
