AIMS, a photo-etched set for the Junkers Ju-188 A/D (1:48)

A photo-etched (PE) detail set in 1:48 scale for the German Junkers Ju-188 bomber in the A and D versions. It is an accessory that raises the detail of a model, not a kit. It is made by the British brand AIMS.

The real subject

The Junkers Ju-188 was a capable German bomber and reconnaissance aircraft of the Second World War derived from the Ju-88, with a new glazed nose and enlarged wing.

Use

  • Separate the parts from the fret with a sharp knife on a hard surface.
  • Form the bends on a photo-etch bender for accurate edges.
  • Glue with super glue, and the small parts with clear adhesive for photo-etch.

  • Builders of German bombers in 1:48 scale
  • More experienced modelers working with photo-etch

The set holds photo-etched parts only. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
