The kit from the manufacturer Trumpeter contains a set of miniature carrier scout bombers Curtiss SBC Helldiver in 1:700 scale. It is not a model of one airplane, but a set of several small aircraft in injection-molded plastic with which you will occupy the decks of models of aircraft carriers and of other warships in the same scale.
The Curtiss SBC Helldiver was a two-seat carrier-based scout and dive bomber. It is a biplane and is usually given as one of the last combat biplanes introduced in the US Navy. It came about in the second half of the 1930s and represents a transitional type between biplanes and modern carrier monoplanes.
Separate the small parts with a sharp knife and handle them with tweezers. Glue with thin cement for plastic applied in a small amount. Painting is possible with a brush as well as with an airbrush, and the bracing and details of the biplane will stand out with the dry brush technique. It is practical to paint the aircraft before seating them on the deck.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
