This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale represents the German light anti-aircraft cannon, the 2 cm Flak 30. In the box you will find two complete models of the weapon. The set works superbly as an addition to dioramas and as a stand-alone model of period anti-aircraft equipment.

The real subject

The 2 cm Flak 30 was a German light automatic anti-aircraft cannon used from the 1930s and throughout the Second World War. It served for defense against low-flying aircraft, but also against lightly armored ground targets. The weapon was moved on a two-wheel trailer and was set up for firing on a folding mount.

Building and painting tips

Thanks to the low part count the build is quick; take care with the fine parts of the barrel and the mount. Glue the plastic with a thin cement, and after priming paint with an airbrush or a brush. For a period look, German gray (Panzergrau) or later shades work well.
