Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from Zvezda, from the Art of Tactic line. It represents a German 81 mm mortar with its crew from the start of the Second World War. The box makes it possible to assemble two mortars and their crews, four figures in all. The parts join with lugs (snap-fit), with no need for glue.
The standard medium mortar of the German army was the 8 cm Granatwerfer 34 in 81 mm caliber. A smooth barrel, good accuracy and a high rate of fire made it effective fire support for the infantry. For transport the weapon broke down into three parts and was carried by its crew. The figures capture soldiers serving the weapon.
Separate the small parts of the mortar carefully and secure the lugs with a drop of glue if necessary. We recommend a base coat of primer and a base in field gray. Pick out the metal parts of the weapon with a dark wash and bring the uniforms to life with a dry brush.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
