This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains precisely cut self-adhesive masks in fine Japanese kabuki tape for 1:72 scale. It is not a kit or a model but an accessory for the modeler that makes masking the glazing and the wheels for spraying far easier and more accurate.
You stick the masks onto the frames of the cockpit glazing and the other glazed areas and onto the wheel rims. After spraying, the glass then stays clear and the tires free of paint. Kabuki tape conforms well to curved shapes, holds tight and leaves no adhesive when peeled off. The result is sharp, straight frame lines without cutting tape by hand.
The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II, which earned the nickname Warthog, is an American jet ground-attack aircraft for close air support. An armor bathtub protects the pilot, and the nose carries a massive seven-barrel cannon. It was powered by two turbofan engines mounted high on the fuselage.
The set contains only the cut-out masking parts. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
