A photo-etched set from Eduard in 1:72 scale aimed at the exterior of the American Douglas A-20G Havoc attack and light bomber aircraft. It contains fine external parts such as covers, grilles and other surface features that replace thick-walled plastic surfaces with thin metal ones. This is not a stand-alone aircraft model, but an accessory that refines its surface.
The Douglas A-20 Havoc was an American twin-engine attack and light bomber aircraft of the Second World War. The A-20G version had the fully glazed nose replaced by a solid nose with armament and was used extensively on both the Western and the Eastern Front.
The etched parts are glued over the corresponding surfaces or into cut-out openings. Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a cutting mat and bond them with super glue; make the bends over a sharp edge. Once fitted, blend the parts in with the paintwork of the model.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a stand-alone model. It requires the matching base kit, which is not included in the package.
