An Eduard Zoom photo-etched set for a model of the Douglas A-4B Skyhawk carrier-borne attack aircraft in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A fret of photo-etched metal parts for building a model of the Douglas A-4B Skyhawk carrier-borne attack aircraft in 1:72 scale. The code places the item in the narrower Zoom range, which Eduard runs alongside its more extensive frets. Zoom is not a different scale but a smaller selection of parts aimed at what is most visible. What the fret holds is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
In 1:72 scale every surface is small and plastic cannot be molded as thin as reality would call for. A metal part a few tenths of a millimeter thick therefore looks more faithful on the edge of an instrument panel or on a lever than plastic. The work is quick as well: you swap a couple of places and the model grows without taking the whole build apart.
Separate the part with a sharp blade on a hard surface, not by twisting, or it will bend. Make the bends in a bending tool or over the edge of a steel rule, always in one movement. Degrease the metal before gluing, as a fingerprint reliably stops both paint and glue from holding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate or with two-part epoxy, and apply little of either, as the excess cannot be removed without damaging the surroundings. Cut the plastic kit part away only once you have the replacement ready and dry-fitted.
The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
