The A400M is a military transport aircraft of European design which replaced older tactical transports. It has a high-mounted wing, a rear cargo ramp and four turboprop engines; it carries a bulky load and at the same time copes even with a short unpaved strip. Turkey is one of the countries that took part in the program and brought the type into service.
The sheet is intended for 1:72 scale and carries the markings of Turkish Air Force machines, that is national insignia, numbers and descriptive lettering taken from the real aircraft. The layout of the elements and their assignment are given by the enclosed instructions.
In 1:72 scale the A400M is a large model with a long fuselage and a big wing, so the decals have their size too and will not tolerate haste. The base must be smooth and sealed with gloss varnish. Cut the element out close to the print, soak it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let it rest until it will slide off the backing. Transfer it onto a drop of water, align it and blot the water away with the edge of a paper tissue; with large elements press it out from the center toward the edges so that no air is left under it. A decal softener will settle the decal into the engraved lines and over the transitions. Seal the whole model at the end so that the edges of the backing disappear.
