Glazing and wheel masks Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero (1:72) — die-cut self-adhesive Eduard painting masks for precise spraying of the cockpit frames and the wheels of the carrier fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of die-cut self-adhesive painting masks from Eduard in 1:72 scale for a model of the Japanese carrier fighter A6M2 Zero. This is not a kit and not a model — these are precisely cut masks of thin masking tape that cling to the long cockpit glazing and to the landing gear wheels. With them you can spray the canopy frames and the rim centers with a sharp edge, without laboriously cutting and sticking ordinary tape.
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was a Japanese carrier fighter of the imperial navy and one of the best known aircraft of the Second World War. The A6M2 version made its name in the opening phase of the war in the Pacific with its outstanding range and agility, which made it a dangerous opponent. It was one of the symbols of Japanese naval aviation.
Spray the shade of the cockpit frames first; once it has dried, lay the masks on the glazing and spray over them with the fuselage color. The long cockpit glazing of the Zero is easier to mask with pre-shaped parts. The wheel masks hold the center of the rim while you spray the tires. For the best grip, degrease the surface and remove dust before sticking, and press the masks down with a soft tool so that the paint does not creep under the edge.
This is a masking set. The model, glue and paints are not included.
