Glazing and wheel masks for the Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero (1:72) — die-cut self-adhesive Eduard painting masks for precisely spraying the cockpit frames and wheels of the carrier-based fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of die-cut self-adhesive painting masks from Eduard in 1:72 scale for a model of the Japanese carrier-based fighter A6M5 Zero. It is not a kit or a model — these are precisely cut masks made of thin masking tape that adhere to the long cockpit glazing and the landing gear wheels. With them you spray the canopy frames and the wheel hub centers with a sharp edge, with no laborious cutting and applying of ordinary tape.
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was a Japanese carrier-based fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy and one of the best-known aircraft of the Second World War. The later A6M5 version received a more powerful engine and modified wings and was one of the most widely used variants deployed in the final phase of the war in the Pacific.
First spray the cockpit frame color, then, once dry, apply the masks to the glazing and spray the fuselage color. The Zero's long cockpit glazing is easier to mask with pre-shaped parts. The wheel masks hold the center of the hub during spraying of the tires. For the best adhesion, degrease the surface and remove dust before applying, and press the masks down with a soft tool so paint does not seep under the edge.
This is a masking set. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
