A resin set of accessories and cargo for bringing a plastic model of the American AAV-P7A1 amphibious assault vehicle in the RAM/RS version with EAAK add-on armor to life, as it was used during the war in Iraq. It is not a model of the vehicle but a set of castings that adds realistic equipment and cargo. The castings come from the Czech manufacturer Black Dog, known for the quality of its resin castings.
The AAV-P7A1 is a tracked amphibious assault vehicle of the US Marine Corps that carries the infantry it lands from ships to the shore and on land as well. The RAM/RS version brought an upgraded powerplant and chassis, while the EAAK add-on armor package brought increased protection in the fighting in Iraq.
In 1:72 the parts are small, so work carefully. Wash the mold release agent off the castings in lukewarm soapy water, cut the casting blocks off with a sharp knife or a saw and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Once primed, an airbrush and fine pigment effects work well.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model of the vehicle itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
