This product is a photo-etched set of ammunition belts from the manufacturer Eduard in 1:72 scale. It is not a model or a kit but a universal accessory representing the belted 12.7 mm American machine gun ammunition (US Cal. .50, that is .50 BMG). The thin metal parts render the individual rounds lined up in the belt more faithfully than simplified plastic can.
Ammunition belts bring life to gun bays, ammunition boxes, gunners' stations and dioramas with American aircraft and vehicles that used 12.7 mm machine guns. The set is universal, so it can be used across several kits in 1:72 scale wherever an ammunition belt is visible.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and shape them gently with tweezers into the curve you need. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The belts are usually painted in metal shades with brass cases; they stand out once a dark wash has been run into the recesses. Degrease unpainted parts before spraying.
The set is an accessory only. The kit, the weapons and paints are not included in the package.
