This kit from the Ukrainian maker UM represents the German Munitionsschlepper 38(t) ammunition vehicle in 1:72 scale. It is an injection-molded plastic model with photo-etched parts added; it is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Munitionsschlepper 38(t) was an ammunition carrier built on the proven chassis of the 38(t) light tank of Czechoslovak origin. It served as a supply vehicle for heavy self-propelled guns; it carried rounds and replenished the ammunition of the combat vehicles so that they did not have to leave their positions. The conversion made use of the production capacity and the reliability of the 38(t) chassis, which lay behind a number of other derived vehicles as well.
Assemble and clean up the running gear before you close the hull. Glue the plastic parts with liquid modeling cement and the fine photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Bring the base coat to life with a dark wash in the recesses and dust and mud pigments on the running gear; the load space is a rewarding place for accessories and cargo in a diorama.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
