Responsibility details are not available.
A set of Austrian infantry figures in 1:72 scale from the Italian maker Italeri. It is a group of infantrymen molded in soft plastic in several poses, suitable as an addition to dioramas and gaming tables as well as standalone collectors' figures. The figures are supplied on a frame; you separate them by clipping and then clean them up.
Austrian infantry formed the backbone of the army of the Habsburg monarchy in the Napoleonic Wars. The soldiers took the field in their characteristic uniforms with white coats and period headgear; the set captures typical infantry stances in the field, from the march to a fighting position. The subject suits battle scenes of the turn of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
Soft plastic takes ordinary cement for hard polystyrene poorly, so use cyanoacrylate. Before painting, wash any mold release agent off the figures and use a primer suited to this material, otherwise the paint will not hold. The detail comes out with drybrushing and a dark wash in the recesses.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
