Responsibility details are not available.
SPACE is a range from the Czech manufacturer Eduard that combines colored 3D interior decals on decal paper with steel photo-etched parts. The set is intended for models of the Avia S-199 in 1:72 scale. The 3D decals reproduce the instrument panel and the side consoles in relief and already printed, while the steel photo-etched parts add above all the pre-colored seat harness.
The Avia S-199 was a postwar Czechoslovak fighter created by combining the airframe of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 with a Junkers Jumo engine, because the original engines were not available. The machine became known for deliveries to Israel, where it became the country's first fighter.
The 3D decals are not immersed in water: only the backing paper is moistened, the element is lifted off with tweezers and settled with white PVA glue onto a cleaned and varnished interior. A decal softener, on the other hand, has no place here, as it attacks the printed resin. The steel photo-etched belts are separated from the fret, shaped and bonded with super glue. In 1:72 scale tweezers and good lighting come in handy.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit; the model itself and paints are not included in the package.
