Eduard 1:72 B-17G mask - anti-glare panels is a specialized set of self-adhesive die-cut masks for spraying the anti-glare panels on the nose of a B-17G bomber model precisely (production blocks BO and DL).
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a specialized set of pre-cut (die-cut) self-adhesive masks made of masking tape for models of the bomber Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress in 1:72 scale. Unlike ordinary cockpit masks, this set serves to lay out and spray the anti-glare panels precisely (the matte dark area in front of the cockpit that cuts down reflections). The set matches the shape of the panels on the production blocks BO (Boeing) and DL (Douglas).
The Boeing B-17G was an American four-engine heavy bomber with rich defensive armament. It was built at three plants whose machines differed in detail; the shapes of the anti-glare panels on the upper side of the nose differed as well. The designations BO and DL mark the machines from Boeing and Douglas production, to which this set is shaped.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
