The Eduard photo-etched set for the exterior of a B-17G Flying Fortress model in 1:72 scale adds fine metal detail to the outer surfaces of the bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit but a photo-etched detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is intended to upgrade the outer surfaces of a 1:72 plastic model of the American B-17G Flying Fortress bomber.
The Boeing B-17G was a four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War. The G version was marked by the chin turret under the nose and by strong defensive armament; it became the most produced modification of the Fortress.
The brass exterior photo-etched set adds outer airframe details such as access panels, covers, grilles and other fine elements. The parts are separated with a sharp knife, bent in a bending tool and glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate); it is worth spraying the brass with primer before painting.
The photo-etched set is an accessory, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
