Full-color instrument panels with a raised relief for the B-25J Mitchell model in the solid-nose form, scale 1:72, cut for the Eduard 7012 kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The B-25 Mitchell was an American twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War, popular for its toughness and for the fact that it could be adapted to almost anything. The J version was built in the largest numbers and some of the machines received a solid nose fitted with machine guns in place of a glazed one. Such an aircraft was used against ground and shipping targets from low altitude, where fire from the nose counted for more than precise bombing from height.
Full-color instrument panels in 1:72 scale with a raised relief, so the instruments have the outlines of dials and a depth that a flat print does not have. They replace the panel from the kit or the decal from the box and are cut for the Eduard 7012 model, as the designation in the name states.
Before application, check in the instructions how the items are attached. If they are self-adhesive, soaking in water would ruin them, so do not start with water until you are sure of the procedure. Level and degrease the surface under the panel first; nothing holds on a greasy or dusty surface. Work with fine-tipped tweezers and offer the item up from one edge, so that no air bubble stays under it. The cockpit is best assembled by seating the panel before the fuselage is glued together, while you can reach it from all sides.
For builders who want a legible cockpit at a small scale without the laborious painting of individual dials. The kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
