Eduard 1:72 B-25J masks is a cut self-adhesive masking set in kabuki tape for masking the glazing and wheels of a model of the American B-25J bomber. It is not a model but an accessory that makes painting easier.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard holds precisely cut self-adhesive masks in fine Japanese kabuki tape for 1:72 scale. It is not a kit or a model but an accessory for modelers that makes masking the glazing and the wheels markedly easier and more accurate while spraying paint.
You stick the masks onto the frames of the cockpit glazing and other glazed areas and onto the wheel hubs. After spraying, the glazing stays clear and the tires free of paint. Kabuki tape conforms well to curved shapes, holds tightly and leaves no adhesive when peeled off. The result is sharp and straight frame lines with no cutting of tape by hand.
The North American B-25 Mitchell was an American twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War. The J version was the most numerous and was built both with a glazed nose for bombing missions and in strafer forms. The glazed cockpit and nose call for careful masking when painting.
The set holds only the cut masking parts. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
