Eduard B5N1 Kate 1:72 is a set of painting masks (kabuki) from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:72 scale for spraying the cockpit glazing and other details on a model of the Nakajima B5N1 Kate.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of self-adhesive painting masks cut from Japanese kabuki masking tape by the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:72 scale. The masks serve for spraying the frames of the cockpit glazing, and usually the wheel hubs as well, precisely and cleanly on a plastic model of the Nakajima B5N1 Kate. It is neither a kit nor a set of decals but an aftermarket accessory for painting, used while building the corresponding model. The model itself is obtained separately.
The Nakajima B5N (Kate in the Allied code) was a Japanese carrier-borne torpedo and level bomber of the Second World War. The B5N1 version was an early variant. The aircraft was the main torpedo striking arm of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service and took part in a number of the great battles in the Pacific.
This is a set of painting masks, not an airplane model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
