An injection-molded plastic kit of the British three-ton Bedford QLD truck in the General Service version (the basic transport form) in 1:72 scale from IBG. It is a vehicle with 4x4 drive and a classic flatbed cargo body. The package contains decals with variants of period markings.
The Bedford QL was one of the most widespread British three-ton trucks of the Second World War. The QLD General Service version was the most common form, which served as a universal truck for carrying soldiers and materiel alike. It formed the backbone of British army logistics and was committed on every front.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the chassis, the axles and the cab before you close the assembly up. Apply a primer before painting; an airbrush is ideal. Khaki green (SCC) suits British equipment; tune the patina with washes into the recesses and dust pigments on the chassis and the underside of the vehicle.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
