This is not a kit but a decal set. It completes a Hurricane Mk.I model with the national insignia and markings of machines that served in the Belgian Air Force. It is precisely such less usual users that basic kits offer only rarely, so the decals decide how the finished model looks and what it answers to.
The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I was a British single-engine fighter aircraft of mixed construction, combining a tubular framework with covering. Belgium was among the foreign users of the type even before 1940, and some of the machines were built under license in Belgium itself. Belgian Hurricanes differ from British ones not only in their markings but also in how they bear on the building of one particular variant.
Finish the model in paint and polish it over with gloss varnish before the decals, or the edges of the film will whiten. Release a decal in warm water, move it into place and draw the surplus water off. On fabric surfaces and riveted seams use softener, so that the decal settles into the surface. Once everything has dried perfectly, even the surface out with matte or semi-gloss varnish according to the look of the machine you want.
