The BL 8-inch howitzer Mk.VI was a British heavy artillery piece introduced in the First World War and used later as well. It was a powerful weapon with long range, towed by artillery tractors. It was deployed to destroy fortifications and for the artillery preparation of attacks.
Use thin cement for plastic on the joints. Clean the fine parts of the carriage and the wheels free of the gates. Degrease the surface before spraying and treat it with a primer; apply the final shades with an airbrush. The model comes out best with a patina: mud and dust effects on the wheels and the carriage raise the realism.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
