Eduard 1:72 BV 141 masks are precisely shaped painting masks for clean spraying of the glazing and the wheels, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of Eduard painting masks in 1:72 scale is an accessory for modelers, not an aircraft kit. The masks are cut from yellow kabuki paper and with their self-adhesive layer they follow the frames of the glazing exactly, and the rims of the wheels where applicable. They let you paint the sizeable glazed cockpit with crisp edges without the tedium of taping up by hand.
The Blohm and Voss BV 141 was a German reconnaissance aircraft of the Second World War, famous for its asymmetric layout: the glazed crew cockpit was placed to one side of the fuselage with the engine. Despite good flying characteristics it remained at a small trial batch and the machine never reached large-scale production.
Lift the parts carefully off the sheet, lay them exactly on the frames of the glazed cockpit and press them down. We recommend spraying the interior or base color first and the covering shade afterward. Lift the masks off while the paint is only dry to the touch, so that the edge does not peel away. Any adhesive residue can be removed with gentle pressure of a finger.
This is an accessory, not a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
