An injection-molded plastic model of the Polish light artillery tractor C2P in 1:72 scale from the Polish brand First to Fight. It is a simple kit with a lower part count, suitable for beginners and for tabletop games too, and easy for a more experienced modeler to add detail to. The box contains plastic parts and decals.
The C2P was a Polish light tracked tractor derived from the chassis of the TKS tankette. It served to tow light guns, above all anti-aircraft guns, and to carry their crews and ammunition. Thanks to its tracked chassis it handled rough ground better than wheeled vehicles and it was part of the typical equipment of the Polish artillery at the end of the 1930s. It was committed in the defensive fighting of 1939.
It is a simple kit, but even so, with a tracked vehicle we recommend assembling and painting the running gear with the tracks first and closing the superstructure only afterwards. Glue the plastic parts with thin modeling cement for plastic. Apply primer before painting and lay the Polish camouflage on with an airbrush or a brush in thin coats. A dark wash into the details and pigments for mud and dust effects on the running gear will give a convincing look.
