Masks of the glazing of the Concorde (1:72) — pre-cut self-adhesive painting masks from New Ware for precise bounding of the windows of the supersonic airliner.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks of the brand New Ware for a model of the supersonic airliner Concorde. This is not a kit — they are precisely shaped masks of thin masking tape which adhere to the glazing of the flight deck and the windows of the fuselage and make it possible to spray the frames and the surrounding areas with a sharp edge. They spare you the laborious cutting out of tape and the tracing of many small windows by hand.
The Concorde is a British-French supersonic airliner with a characteristic delta wing and a drooping nose. It flew at a cruising speed of around twice the speed of sound and is among the best-known civil aircraft in history. Thanks to its slender fuselage and its row of windows, a model calls for demanding masking, which this set simplifies markedly.
Lay the masks on clean glazing, press them down along the edges and spray the shade of the frames and the fuselage. The thin tape adapts to the rounding and leaves a clean edge. Lift the masks off carefully once the paint has dried. For the best adhesion, degrease the surface before sticking the masks on, free it of dust and press the masks down with a soft tool so that the paint does not run under the edge.
This is a masking set. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
