1:72 Cushman - model 39 (ver.B) is the second rendition of the miniature kit of the American Cushman scooter from the Firma49 marque.

A small kit of a single-track utility machine, which Firma49 released as the second of the pair of renditions of model 39. A customer who wants to have two different scooters in a scene can thus get both variants and build them next to each other. The object is small even by the standards of 1:72 scale, and all the greater a role is played by careful cleaning up and application of paint.
Cushman scooters belonged among the typical American hardware of the first half of the twentieth century. They served where a few hundred meters had to be covered faster than on foot and where a passenger car would be needlessly cumbersome: between the halls of factories, in storage yards and on extensive airfields. The design was deliberately simple, so that the machine stood up to ordinary service and was repaired with a minimum of tools.
Before you start building, lay the parts out on a light-colored mat and count them; a tiny component dropped onto a carpet is hard to find. Glue the joints one at a time and let them harden, and only then add the next. Apply the basic shade with an airbrush at reduced pressure or with a very fine brush, and bring out fine details such as the saddle or the handlebars with a thin tip only at the end.
The goods arrive as a semi-finished product without a coat; choose the paints according to the scheme you have chosen.
