Responsibility details are not available.
Waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models. The sheet is intended for the four-engine Consolidated B-24D Liberator bomber of the US Army Air Forces and carries the markings of a particular machine known by the name Green Dragon. The contents of the package are the sheet itself, not a plastic model.
The B-24 Liberator was a four-engine heavy bomber with a high-mounted wing of large slender form and twin rudders. The D version was among the first production patterns deployed in greater numbers and was marked by defensive machine gun positions spread along the fuselage and a glazed nose. Machines of this class flew long distances with a large bomb load, which showed in the sturdy structure of the airframe and in the equipment for long flights.
First paint the model and let it cure thoroughly, then spray a thin coat of gloss clear coat. Cut the design out close to the edge of the film, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and set it down on absorbent paper until the backing releases. Move the decal into place, line it up and press the surplus water out gently with a soft cloth. On large areas a softener helps, so that the film flows around rivets and panel lines. Finally unify the model with matte varnish, which hides the edge of the decal to the eye.
This is a decal sheet, not a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
