1:72 Dornier Do 27 double-sided pre-cuttet mask for Art Scale Kit / Special Hobby

Art Scale 1:72 masking set, Dornier Do 27

A set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks in quality kabuki film, not a kit. The parts are numbered and come with instructions giving their exact placement. The set is cut to fit a particular plastic kit of the Dornier Do 27 in 1:72 scale. The double-sided form masks the outer and the inner side of the glazing.

The real subject

The Dornier Do 27 was a German single-engined high-wing monoplane with short take-off and landing, used from the 1950s for liaison, reconnaissance and general-purpose duties. Characteristic is its generously glazed cabin, whose masking is slow work by hand.

Use

• Transfer the mask with tweezers onto clean glass and press the edges down.
• Fit the inner parts before the cabin is closed up.
• Spray the frames in thin coats to prevent paint bleed.
• Work area by area according to the numbering.

Who the set is for

• Builders of light liaison aircraft.
• Modelers who want to save time masking a glazed cabin.

The set contains no paints and no model. It is an accessory to a plastic kit.
