This is a modeling accessory from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, not a kit. The set contains fine photo-etched metal parts that replace the plastic air brakes of the Douglas SBD-3 Dauntless carrier dive bomber in 1:72 scale. The characteristic perforated brake surfaces with their many holes come out far more convincingly and finely in thin photo-etched metal than in thicker plastic. The set is meant to complete the matching plastic kit.

• Replacing the plastic air brakes with convincing perforated photo-etched parts.
• Raising the realism of an SBD-3 Dauntless model in 1:72 scale.
