Eduard 1:72 EA-6B Prowler are die-cut painting masks for cleanly masking the cockpit glazing and the other clear parts of a model of the carrier electronic warfare aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
Precisely die-cut painting masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:72 scale. It is not a model but a modeling accessory: self-adhesive masks in kabuki tape that cover the cockpit glazing and the other areas where a clean transition or a transparent surface should remain during painting. They save laborious cutting of tape and give sharp glazing frames.
The Grumman EA-6B Prowler was a carrier electronic warfare aircraft derived from the A-6 Intruder attack machine. It was powered by two jet engines, carried a crew of four and specialized in jamming enemy radars and suppressing air defenses. It served for many years with the US Navy and the US Marine Corps.
The masks are die-cut to the shape of a particular kit in this scale. Lift the part off the sheet, lay it on the glazing and press the edges down with a pointed stick along the lines. Spray the frame color and peel the mask off. The tape holds reliably and leaves no adhesive residue.
This is a set of masks, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
