The Quinta Studio set contains colored fittings for both cockpits printed with 3D technology on decal paper. The displays, the instruments, the side panels and the details of the ejection seats have three-dimensional depth and factory color, so even in the smaller scale the demanding painting falls away. It is not an aircraft kit but an upgrade accessory for a plastic model of the two-seat F-15E strike aircraft in 1:72 scale.
The McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Eagle is an American two-seat multirole strike fighter able to destroy ground targets in all weathers and to fight in the air. The crew is a pilot and a weapon systems officer in tandem. The glazed canopies leave the interior clearly visible.
The elements have no adhesive layer; they are printed on carrier decal paper. So coat the surfaces of the cockpits with a gloss clear coat (Future/Klear, Tamiya X-22), dip the cut-out part for fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slide it off the paper into place with tweezers. On busy shapes a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or setter, as they would attack the printed resin. The interior needs no further painting.
This is a detail set, not an aircraft model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
