Eduard 1:72 F-16A painting masks are a set of self-adhesive kabuki masks for cleanly spraying the cockpit and the canopy of the General Dynamics F-16 fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
These painting masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard are meant for models of the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter in the F-16A version, in 1:72 scale. The parts, cut from low-tack kabuki tape, follow the shape of the large bubble canopy and the cockpit frame exactly. Once you spray, you get straight and sharp transitions without laboriously cutting tape.
The General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multirole fighter with fly-by-wire controls and a distinctive bubble canopy that gives an excellent view out. The F-16A version was the first single-seat production form and it became the basis for a long line of later variants fielded by armed forces around the world.
Lift the parts off the sheet, transfer them onto the canopy and the cockpit frame and press them down with a soft tool. The sweep of the canopy can be covered the rest of the way with strips of tape or with liquid mask. Spray the frame color and then the exterior shade, and take the masks off while the paint is freshly dry.
The masks are an accessory for spraying, not a model. Paints, glue and the kit are not included.
