The Eduard photo-etched set for the F-16C 1:72 is a photo-etched detail accessory for refining the plastic kit of this fighter, not a model of the aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched (brass) detail set in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory for refining the plastic kit of the F-16C Fighting Falcon fighter. The photo-etched parts replace and complete small features that cannot be made faithfully in injection-molded plastic, typically cockpit details, the instrument panel, controls, seat belts and fine exterior parts. The set is meant for modelers who want to lift a base kit to a higher level.
The General Dynamics, today Lockheed Martin, F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American single-engined multirole fighter. The F-16C version is the modernized single-seat variant with more advanced avionics and radar. Characteristic are the teardrop canopy and the side stick.
Separate the photo-etched parts carefully from the fret, bend them on the edge of a blade or in a bending tool and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with a two-part glue. Areas finished in color can be picked out with a brush, and we recommend giving matte brass parts a primer before varnishing. Working with fine photo-etched parts calls for tweezers, a sharp knife and patience.
This is an accessory, not a model of the aircraft. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
