A set of shaped masking plugs for the model of the American McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II multirole fighter in 1:72 scale from Finemolds. It is not a kit but a modeling aid for masking: the soft shaped plugs are inserted into the open landing gear bays, fill them exactly and protect their inside from paint overspray during spraying. Once the paint has dried the plugs are pulled out without residue and the inside of the bay stays in its original color.

Use

• Press the plug into the relevant landing gear bay so that it fills it and sits flush with the surroundings.
• Spray the primer and the top color around the bays without laborious taping.
• Once the paint has dried take the plugs carefully out; the bay stays clean.
• Handled gently, the plugs can be used again.
